What is the Women’s Empowerment Summit?
The Women’s Empowerment Summit, established in 2007, is a one day, power packed event,
designed to address the needs of women in the Caribbean region. The Summit addresses issues
affecting women of the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, the rest of the Caribbean and the Southern
United States, with particular emphasis on Economic Empowerment, Professional and Business
Development, Relationship Management, Leadership, Inspiration, Motivation and Education.
The day also includes entertainment. The Summit’s primary mission is to bring women of the
region together to enable them to embrace their power to resolve some of the numerous issues affecting all of us.
